We here at Paul J. Cooper Center for Human Services are proud of the work we have achieved, in providing quality care for the developmentally disabled. We would like to thank you for being a part of our community.
Our mission to provide a caring and safe environment for individuals with learning and developmental disabilities, is a 24/7 undertaking. We have been operating in communities in Brooklyn for over 50 years and it is our mission to deliver the same quality and commitment for many more years to come, but we need your help! Paul J. Cooper is a non-profit organization that operates under the auspices of the NYS Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
Our target is to raise ($100,000) from champions of our mission, like yourself, during the 2023 fiscal year.

Though it may sound like a lot, we would be able to reach our target if each of our supporters dig deep for this worthy cause... Just the same, every little bit helps fill the bucket.
Mahatma Gandhi once uttered these unforgettable words, "Your nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." We are grateful that our country or city's potential for greatness is not limited. We embrace the opportunity to serve our communities' most vulnerable and are humbled by your willingness to join us in this endeavor.
Funds raised over the past few years have been used to upgrade living quarters in several residences with the purchase of new furniture for common areas as well as for clients’ personal quarters. In this upcoming year, we would like to continue to do the same in our other residences, ensuring that our facilities remain welcoming and up to date. This investment in the residences relates to our efforts to improve our therapeutic milieu.
Our second goal is to enhance the services delivered by our staff through the purchase of electronic devices and software systems and technology-based solutions that will provide augmented training, better communication pathways, increased accountability, and more efficient record keeping.
