Paul J. Cooper is a proud participant in the annual Autism Speaks Empower Walk & 5k Run. This is the world’s largest fundraising event dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with autism today while driving innovative solutions for tomorrow.

Participants can join their community to walk or run, raising vital funds, increasing awareness, and showing what true inclusion and belonging look like. Together, we’re creating a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

Paul J. Cooper is dedicated to creating an environment where residents can thrive.

Paul J. Cooper is a well-established human services organization that has a visible impact on the community we serve. Our unique residential experience provides individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to flourish in a meaningfully engaged and participatory environment. Through a process of skills development, we encourage individuals to become independent and self-sufficient and assist them in finding their place within the community.

The staff of Paul J. Cooper works tirelessly to ensure that the agency achieves its mission of providing high-quality services for all.

Why Paul J. Cooper?

Although we were founded in 1971, we continue to evolve, responding to the current needs of the people we serve in our community.

Paul J. Cooper and our individuals share a common characteristic which is; Resilience. The ability to function well in the face of adversity, and accept our reality without allowing it to reduce us. Not only do we survive, we thrive.

Paul J. Cooper looks beyond someone’s disability and sees each individual as a whole person. Identifying each individual's uniqueness through person-centered planning helps our staff adhere to desired personal outcomes based on the individual’s life goals, interests, strengths, abilities, desires, and preferences.
