Residential Services for People with Intellectual Disabilities

Paul J. Cooper Residential Services is designed to provide homes and supportive services to individuals with developmental disabilities who need 24hr-direct care support. Licensed by the State of New York Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), Paul J. Cooper Center for Human Services operates Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF’s), Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRA’s), and Community Habilitation Program.

We see our work as a collaborative partnership with the individuals and their families. Our overall goal is to empower individuals to reach their fullest potential. We seek to increase integration into the community, facilitate the use of community resources, and develop opportunities for competitive employment through job training and behavioral management.
